Impinj reaches 100 million memory chip milestone

Impinj says that it recently shipped its 100-millionth multiple-times programmable (MTP) non-volatile memory (NVM) IP core. Designed to provide small bit-count NVM for rapidly growing markets such as RF, LCD driver, secure media, consumer microcontroller, and power management, Impinj's AEON family of NVM IP products include AEON/MTP and the recently launched AEON/HV memory (an embedded, rewriteable NVM for 5V CMOS processes). Impinj IP can store trim data for on-chip analogue components, for encryption keys and unique identification numbers and for chip or system configuration. Its NVM cores are in volume production at 0.18um and 0.25um process nodes, with 0.13um being in qualification.
